Move PDF text rows into spreadsheet columns
Foldr groups text that sits on the same line into a row, and starts a new column wherever there is a wide gap between pieces of text. Each PDF page that contains text becomes a worksheet named Page 1, Page 2 and so on.
This works best on simple, clearly spaced tables such as statements, price lists and reports exported from software. Complex layouts, with merged cells, wrapped text or multiple columns per page, may need cleaning in Excel.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF table to Excel?
Add the PDF, press PDF to Excel and download the .xlsx. Each page with text becomes its own sheet.
Can I convert a scanned PDF to Excel?
No. Foldr does not include OCR, so it works only on PDFs that contain real, selectable text.
How accurate is the table detection?
Columns are guessed from gaps between text, so simple tables work well and complex ones may need manual cleanup.
Are numbers converted to numeric cells?
The values are copied as text exactly as they appear in the PDF. You can convert them to numbers in Excel.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser.
